Can breakfast make kids smarter?

Most children tend to skip breakfast because they want to stay a bit longer in bed. However researches from all over the world have shown that going to school with an empty stomach greatly affects their performance in class.

Not only does a healthy breakfast help children grow stronger, it also improves their concentration and memory. Here’re some healthy breakfast choices:

- Low-fat yogurt with breakfast cereal and a portion of fruit
- Omelette with mixed vegetables and skimmed milk
- Whole wheat toast with tomato, avocado, and cheese
- Oatmeal with calcium soybean milk
- Boiled egg and macaroni with tomato
