11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 April 2010 (Thursday & Sunday) and one rehabilitation class
An extremely successful and most enjoyable fun fair was held on the 22nd February 2009 by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Both Hong Kong and Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospitals were major contributors and exhibitors, with booths sharing information about cancer of the colon with the general public. Additionally, teams of doctors and nurses answered inquiries from the audience, whilst other personnel conducted free measurements of BMI and fat ratio.
Special stage presentations were well received, and these included a nutritionist advising on good eating habits, an exercise physiologist demonstrating simple exercises, and chefs from the Intercontinental Hotel conducting vegetarian cooking demonstrations.
Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves immensely.
The fair is open to industry professionals and the general public. And 12 private hospitals have joined together to form a Virtual Operating Theatre, a fascinating educational display area to showcase the procedure and facilities of operations. Meanwhile, the public forum and health talks organized by hospitals allow both professionals and the public to update themselves on the latest developments.
