structures. TWAH is equipped with a Philips 1.5 tesla
MRI whole body scanner that can provide top quality
MRI images without the risk of radiation.
CT Scan
The Brilliance CT scanner from Philips Medical Systems
can reveal sub-millimeter detail with unmatched speed.
It is most suitable for children and the elderly who
have problems to stay still.
This ultrafast scanner is also capable of performing
high resolution CT applications, such as CT angiography
and CT virtual colonoscopy. Coronary CT angiography
and Calcium Scoring are increasingly used for screening
and diagnosis of coronary artery diseases.
Ultrasound Diagnostic Services
Ultrasound Imaging is performed on a top of the line
Philips Ultrasound Scanner.
Screening for Osteoporosis
TWAH is equipped with bone densitometry systems by Hologic,
which is capable of quantifying a patient's fracture
risk.
Screening for Breast Cancer
The GE Mammography Unit delivers extremely low doses
of x-ray to the breasts. It can detect breast cancer
long before the tumor is big enough to cause symptoms.
Standard Diagnostic Imaging Services
TWAH is equipped with all standard radiological equipment
expected from a general hospital. Other facilities include
machines for general and portable X-rays , a fluoroscopy
