During the pandemic, public hospitals have been overwhelmed. Many public hospital patients have been unable to receive appropriate medical care. Patients from various specialties were affected, e.g. Cancer, Urology, Gynecology, Cardiac, etc. To alleviate the pressure on the services of public hospitals, Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan and Stubbs Road have received a total of 81 patients referred from the Hospital Authority and sponsored by Li Ka Shing Foundation(LKSF).
These 81 Patients are from all walks of life, and includes a public hospital ward assistant, a housewife, a container port worker, and a film and advertising executive. Many beneficiaries expressed gratitude and appreciation to HKAH and LKSF.
