To advise, plan, organize and monitor the provision of Biomedical Engineering Services in the Hospital
To assist Biomedical Engineer to provide professional support on equipment project management, procurement and life cycle management of medical equipment
To arrange maintenance contracts which include planning, preparation of specification on all aspects of related Bio-engineering works, operation and maintenance activities
To support in development of medical equipment management plan and execution of equipment maintenance strategy.
To carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Career Opportunities:
There are opportunities after 3 months’ probation from BMET to GBME with 2 years formal HKIE Scheme A training
Candidates with 2-3 years’ relevant work experience will be considered directly as Assistant BM Engineer.

Holder of a Degree in Biomedical / Medical / Clinical Engineering or a related field
Knowledge of medical device asset management is a definite advantage
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skill, Customer and teamwork oriented
Good computing skill and Fluency in technical report writing
Speak and write fluent Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
