FAQ
FAQ

Can APS cure my knee osteoarthritis?

There is no universally accepted cure for degenerative knee osteoarthritis. APS may slow symptom progression and relieve pain in some patients—particularly in earlier stages—but results vary. Discuss expected outcomes with our medical team.

Is APS injection safe? Any side effects?

APS is generally well tolerated as an autologous product; however, injection related risks (temporary pain, local swelling, bruising, rare infection) remain. Health conditions or medications may influence safety—please disclose your medical history to our team.

What should I note after APS injection?

Patients usually return home the same day. Apply ice and take analgesics if needed. Avoid strenuous exercise for 1–2 weeks or follow the specific advice provided by our medical team. Engage in any recommended rehabilitation exercises to optimise outcomes.

How long until APS becomes effective?

Some clinical observations report meaningful pain reduction around 4–6 weeks after injection; individual timelines vary. Please consult our medical team for personalised expectations.

Will I need repeat injections?

Duration of benefit varies. Some patients report months to a few years of symptom relief after treatment; additional injections may be considered when effects decline, based on clinical assessment and patient preference.
