The Rehabilitation Center at HKAH–TW has developed an innovative approach to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. Our multi-disciplinary team of fully qualified therapists has expert clinical knowledge to conduct effective treatments and to help patients return to their normal lives as soon as possible. Services are available to medical, stroke, sport, neck and back injury patients.  Areas of expertise:

 

Physical Therapy

At HKAH–TW, qualified physiotherapists work closely with the referring doctors in a well-equipped department. A wide range of conditions are treated, including the following:

  • Acute and chronic chest problems

  • Acute and chronic neck and back pain

  • Bell's palsy

  • Congenital abnormalities affecting muscles and mobility

  • Incontinence

  • Muscle, bone, and joint disorders including arthritis

HKAH–TW is involved in the rehabilitative needs of the newborn to the growing child. Our department has the necessary equipment to help treat children with common ailments.



Our rehabilitation services include:

  • Torticollis (wry neck, sternomastoid tumour)
