Children Vaccination Program
The Well Baby Clinic (WBC) in HKAH-TW provides immunization service to children up to the age of 2.
As a minimum, all children attending WBC would be recommended to follow the Hong Kong Childhood Immunization Program (HKCIP) recommended by The Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases under the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH).
To cater to the need of expatriates and patients with special needs, WBC may also recommend vaccines licensed in Hong Kong but not included in HKCIP to patients of appropriate age, including but not limited to influenza vaccine, Hemophilus influenza type b vaccine (HIB), meningococcal vaccine, hepatitis A vaccine, Japanese encephalitis vaccine and rotavirus vaccine.
