Building for the Future
Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital has been part of the local community and a healthcare provider for 46 years. During that time, we have evolved to meet the needs of the ever-changing community. In recent years, this has involved an increasing commitment to advanced medical technology and to establishing our hospital as a premier healthcare provider of specialist medical services. We have introduced high-tech medical equipment and advanced diagnostic radiology, as well as a wide range of specialist diagnostic and treatment equipment.
The rapid development of the New Territories West rendered it necessary to renovate our facilities. However, we find we are still facing challenges as a result of shortages in health and medical resources. The solution, we believe, is a new hospital wing, which will cost around one billion Hong Kong dollars.
The project will enable us to better manage our existing areas and give us more space to further enhance our services. It will allow us to provide more beds, specialized centers, operating rooms and add more advanced equipment to prepare us for the future needs of the growing population.
